How do you get to work? Does your office recycle paper or other materials? How healthy is the air you are breathing?  Are the lights on even when there is plenty of natural daylight?  Are the lights on in your building at night, when no one is there?  If you work in an existing building there are measures you can take to reduce your environmental footprint without a lot of effort.

Today’s new buildings incorporate many energy saving technologies and healthier interior furnishings that don’t off-gas chemicals into the air.  They use materials from local sources, recycled products, and generate on-site renewable energy. Some of the latest state of the art buildings are in harmony with the nature and sometimes integrate elements like stone, living walls and water falls into the building environment.
