We are a creative, innovative non-profit organization whose commitment is to increase access to sustainable lifestyle solutions, while at the same time building and integrating the green community in NYC. ย We do that with this website and our signature Green City Challenge Race.
Our annual GCC Race offers a fun opportunity for teams to compete with their fellow green New Yorkers to demonstrate their knowledge of how to live, work and eat green. These teams ride their bikes to secret destinations and complete a challenge in a green business or non profitย that hosts the challenge. ย If they are successful, they earn a giant jigsaw puzzle piece with a clue to their next destination. ย On they go until they have collected all their pieces and return to the finish line.
