Green City Challenge will present any or all of our fun, hands-on, games that teach kids about sustainability in the school setting that works best for your students. We can also help you create your own games! At the present time, we are scheduling events in Middle Schools in the Bronx and Manhattan for the Spring and Fall of 2020/2021.
We have a suggested donation of $200 to Green City Challenge for any school event of 3 hours or less.
Your students can play six fun and interactive games as follows:
Recycle It: Sort common household items into the best disposal bins
What’s the Watts?: Rank appliances according to how much energy they use
Build It Green: Identify green building materials by their physical characteristics
Home Choices: Make sustainable vs. non-sustainable lifestyle choices at home
Go Fish: Fish for the answers to questions about sustainable seafood and the oceans
Environmental Jeopardy: Play a quiz game all about environmental topics
